About Sevan
Expert Analysis
Darvoni Christopher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
The Virginia Union commit delivered one of her strongest performances of the season, stepping up in a major way for her team when it mattered most. Sevan knocked down three threes in what was a tight, back-and-forth matchup, giving her team crucial momentum at multiple points throughout the game.
When both of the Banks sisters fouled out, Sevan embraced the moment—taking command of the floor, organizing her teammates, and providing the leadership her team needed to close things out. That composure is what makes her such a special player to watch. She can score when her team needs it, but she also leads with maturity and confidence.
Sevan finished the night with 15 points and 5 steals, showcasing her impact on both ends of the court and proving once again why she is one of the most trusted playmakers on the roster.

I first saw Sevan during the Prep Girls Hoops Showcase, and even then she stood out with her physical strength, ability to attack off the dribble, and her willingness to rebound in traffic. That same presence was on full display again in her matchup against Pike. Sevan finished with 7 points, but her impact went well beyond the box score. She helped fuel a crucial 18–8 second-quarter run, providing energy, toughness, and timely scoring against one of the top teams in the state. Her aggressiveness getting downhill created problems for Pike’s defense, and her rebounding helped stabilize her team on both ends of the floor. Recently committed to Virginia Union University, Sevan will be a tremendous addition to the program. Her strength, motor, and confident attacking style translate well to the college level, and her ability to impact the game in multiple ways makes her a valuable long-term piece.

put together an impressive showing at the showcase, standing out not only with her skill set but also with her intangibles. What truly separated her from many other players was her consistency in communication. Over the course of long 40-minute games, when fatigue often causes players to lose focus, Walls maintained a high level of energy constantly talking on both ends, encouraging teammates, and staying engaged with her showcase coaches. That leadership quality alone made her presence felt throughout the day. From a skill standpoint, Walls displayed an aggressive mindset offensively. She attacked the basket every chance she had, finishing strong at the rim and keeping the defense on its heels. Just as impressive was her ability to move without the basketball, consistently cutting into open spaces and putting herself in scoring position. Her hustle and effort were constant, making her one of the more dependable guards on the floor. As she returns to Crispus Attucks, Walls looks poised to be a key contributor this upcoming season. Her combination of leadership, communication, and attacking style of play makes her an impact player who can elevate those around her while providing steady production for her team.

Sevan is a very athletic ball of energy who is always fun to watch. She has broad shoulders, great length at her height, and she possesses very good talent, speed, and even a little bounce in her step. When engaged, Sevan can be one of the better defenders in Indiana’s 2026 class. Offensively, she can knock down the occasional jumper or get to the basket to finish, plus she has improved her vision and ability to find open teammates in traffic.

Sevan had a solid Spring, a nice Summer and Fall, and she’s primed to make a big jump this Winter. The transfer to Crispus Attucks should afford her more opportunities to affect games, and she is certainly capable of making plays. She has nice length, all-around athleticism, and she has shot the ball pretty well each time I’ve seen her over the past six months. Just putting it all together and allowing the game to come to her should make her a tough matchup, especially playing in a Tiger backcourt with other talented guards.
