Hoover is a force on the court. She is an elite athlete who runs the floor with ease. She is an aggressive player who rebounds with effort on both offense and defense. Shanon Hoover was attacking the basket making plays happen right when her team needed them. She used power dribbles to make plays happen in the paint, and she was able to show off some fakes with the ball to create her own space to score. She got inside for rebounds on both ends of the court. She knows how to use what the defense does against them creating the open look for herself, and she was patient allowing them to leave their feet as she made her move.

Shanon Hoover is definitely a player that will battle in the paint for her team. She can get inside for rebounds on both ends, and she’s quick making her decision to put the shot back up on offensive rebounds scoring her own points. She can score through contact making some old fashioned three point plays. On defense, she’s a force inhibiting her opponents from getting points near the basket.
