Her on ball defense is tough and she knows how to impact the game by simply locking down her defender and helping off the ball. She might be the #1 player in the class but when you break down her game she is a steal. Not too sure how the local schools let this one get away but she is a player that could hit the floor running right off the bat as a freshman. She has speed and her on ball defense with those active hands is solid. Shoots the ball well and has an aray of moves she can go to when it comes to her attacks. When she gets the ball on the move she is super tuff to stop.

Nordstrom is electric and her on the ball pressure and long arms allow her to rack up steals and just pressure teams into tough plays. Nordstrom knows how to get to her mid-range and she uses that change of speed to get defenders off of her. She is quick off of the bounce and she just sees the game at a different speed than most people out on the floor.

Movement is very important, especially when you are off the ball. Nordstrom is so dangerous and when she sees her defender lose track she cuts and she is so quick that it is always to late and the rotation never gets there in time. The thing that makes her crafty is she can take contact and spin the ball off the glass and get it to fall. She will get that ball on the move and she will hit you with the middy. Elite at taking what the defense gives you.

High motor guard that when she is on and healthy she is one of the toughest players to stay in-front of. Her speed is elite and her creating ability is next level for sure.

Shawnee comes in at #1 and her high level play and all-around talent is next level for sure. She will be heading to Cal Baptist next year as it is a great fit for her. Look for her to be an absolute problem this season as she will try and lead Lone Peak to another state title. One of the best two way PG’s out west.
