Sheyenne is a quality role player for the Sentinels. She does a lot of the work that doesn’t always translate to the stat book but coaches appreciate. She is always in a great defensive stance. She battles defensively and does a great job of cutting off driving lanes. She leverages her strength to play against bigger girls. Her fearless nature defensively is something I appreciate. Sheyenne sets screens that open up her teammates for easy baskets. She also is a good rebounder for a guard. She gets the ball at its peak and then looks to push the ball in transition. She is good at throwing outlet passes up the court to teammates.

Sheyenne brings a lot of positive qualities to Minot North.  She is going to be a really effective high school basketball as she grows and matures.  She is a speedy 5’6 and brings an element of defensive intensity to the team.  She is good in the pick-and-roll and delivers nice pocket-passes to her teammates rolling to the hoop.  She has some work to do on efficiency scoring the basketball as many sophomores do, but she had an excellent season contributing on a young squad.
