was a tough defender getting in the way of her opponents and exploding into the passing lanes. She takes her steals all the way for solo fast breaks even battling contact when needed. She is constantly talking on the court, too, directing her teammates on what to do, especially as she brings the ball up the court.

was a nuisance on defense picking the ball away from her opponents and hustling up the court to get a fast break going. She had some nice range with her shot hitting it from around the perimeter. She attacked the basket finding her own opening and going to work.

Simms can shoot the basketball. Her outside shot is picture-perfect, and it is very accurate. She can knock down threes in transition, against a man defense, and against a zone. Simms is the ultimate “zone-buster” against a 2-3 or a 3-2 zone. When her jump shot is taken away with a tight closeout, Simms drives hard to the rim. In any game, she can get to the foul line nearly 5 times per game. Sims is a special talent who scored over 13 points per game in her freshman season and grabbed over 4 rebounds.
