Expert Analysis
Mike Benson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Skotti is the complete package as a basketball player. Her height, length, athleticism, strength, and competitive nature are top notch. I think Minot State got a steal in Beck. She will be a contributor right away and could find herself in the starting lineup as a freshman. She has the potential to be a multi-year All-NSIC player. Skotti was a well-deserved member of the First-Team All-State team. She finished her senior campaign averaging 16.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.

Skotti is another scorer that is hard to contain. She is a terrific outside shooter and can shoot it from deep behind the three-point line. She is a tall guard and super athletic. She uses her athleticism to beat people up the floor in transition and uses her height to finish around the rim. She plays really hard and is a good leader on the floor.

She averages 20 ppg for for the #1 ranked team in class A. Skotti scores many points in transition and off defensive turnovers. She also score plenty of points in the halfcourt offense. Beck is almost, if not 6 ft tall and moves and plays like a guard which makes her a real defensive nightmare for the opposing team.

Skotti is a bonafide superstar. She is one of the best players in an absolutely loaded 2026 class. She has a great college playing frame and is very athletic. She moves great in transition and is a great outside shooter. Her height, length, and athletic ability allow her to defend smaller guards and bigger forwards and posts. She is very competitive and will need to play well for South-Prairie to achieve its goal of State Champions in 2025. College coaches need to be all over Skotti this summer.

One of my MVP’s on the day Scotti has a lot to get the state of North Dakota excited about! She showed off a smooth jumper and had one of the greatest abilities to elevate to finish over the defense at the event. Her first step to the basket is explosive and purposeful and she has great length to finish above or around defenders at the basket. An excellent array of finishing moves includes a very effective euro-step which she showed off throughout the day in transition. She has excellent length which allows her to alter shots on the defensive end and do a really nice job containing ball handlers as well. This kid has the total package and looks destined to be a high-quality athlete beyond her high school years at South Prairie High School!
