Skyla Tuthill had a nice move using a ball fake to get the opening and pulling up for two points. She slid into the openings catching the pass and putting up the shot. She crashed the boards on defense coming up with rebounds and finding an outlet immediately.

was flashing all over the court getting the pass being ready for her shot. She attacked the basket making some points count from the free throw line. She showed off her range shooting the ball from deep. There’s certainly a reason that the opposing team’s coach was immediately identifying her as the shooter. She used screens well knowing exactly how to draw her defender to it and take full advantage.

The North Carolina-based playmaker caught my eye with her smooth game. Skyla is a big guard that makes a big impact. She’s a threat on and off the ball. Tuthill shoots it extremely well from deep. She’s able to make plays downhill as a driver and sees the floor well. Skyla isn’t afraid to mix it up on the glass and has versatility that extends to the defensive end. Tuthill put up 17 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in a 78-52 win while nailing four threes.

is excellent when it comes to attacking the gaps with her ball handling finding ways to get to the basket, and she can easily score through contact. She has effective change of direction moves losing her defender easily to create her own lane. Her sharp shooting is sure to cause problems for her opponents as she can square up anywhere around the arc to get some buckets.

Skyla Tuthill had a nice stroke from beyond the perimeter. She attacked the basket, too, driving through contact and converting from the free throw line. She is aware of the best places to fill in the lanes in order to make some points on a fast break or open up the court for her teammates.

Our No. 1 ranked 2025 in South Carolina who is swimming in Division I offers, Tuthill made major news when she announced she would be transferring to Legion Collegiate Academy from Catawba Ridge. Tuthill led the Copperheads last season through a deep playoff run to the 4A Upper State Finals. She has proven herself as a leader beyond her years. As much of an at-will scorer as she is, she also is a gifted rebounder and combines the skills of a guard with the height of many forwards.
