Baldesarri surely put the state on notice this season in her first year at Douglas County. The shooting guard was an offensive wizard this past season averaging 20 points and 7 rebounds on 47% shooting from the field which made her one of three girls to average 20 points in 6A. A task that is not easy. Sofia led Douglas County to a 16-8 record giving them their first winning season in 20+ years. Going into the summer she will look to expand her game as she looks to continue her dominance on the national stage.
