One of the fastest rising players in the state last year was Locati. She absoultely dominated for Redmond last season, dropping 18 points a game and 9 rebounds a game as well as 2.5 steals per game. She can finish with both hands and really gets down-hill smoothly and quickly. She has a great hop step down the paint, playing off 2 feet very well. Coaches can check her out in Alabama this weekend for the EYBL session 2 as she suits up for NW Legends.

Sofia is set for a big AAU season after dominating the season for Redmond. She consistently improved her game the entire season, becoming a three level scorer and a top tier defender. She is a strong guard who knows how to play inside or outside due to her quickness and physical style of play. She should start to gather Division 1 interest as she has been proving to be able to play at that elite level.

Here is one of the biggest rankings risers in the entire state. Sofia has elevated her offensive game in a big way, becoming an elite scorer and a player who can score from all 3 levels. She plays with high intensity while on the court and is able to elevate her teammates games in a big way by gettin them involved.

Here is a player who might be the most improved in the entire state. Locati’s steady improvement during the season shows how hard she works off the court on improving her game. Her jumper is smooth and she attacks well with both hands, having solid speed and great anticipation with the ball. Redmond has some other key pieces and next year they will be back again but, watch out fir Sofia and company. They could make some noice.

Sofia has been really taking off on the court in the last couple weeks. She started the season off strong but has only continued to improve and improve. She’s broken her career high in points a few times this season but most recently in a game that sent Redmond to districts for the first time in 7 years. She dropped 31 points with 6 three pointers in the win.

One of the most improved players in the state to me is Sofia. She has been showing a versatile offensive game and being able to play elite defense the whole game too. She has been shooting the ball well, pushing the pace well in the transition game, and even finding her teammates for easy buckets. In a 1 point win against Mercer Island, she had 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal for Redmond.

Redmond is going to be a team to watch this season with many talented players. Sofia will be one of the leaders on this team throughout the season, being a great glue player for her team. Locati runs the court well, finishing in transition and through traffic. She scores down low effectively but can also step out and hit shots. She finished the game against Hazen by having 11 points, 10 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists.

Locati is a guard who really exemplifies toughness on the court. She is a good shooter from deep, has a good enough handle to attack gaps and do some playmaking, and has really been a pretty impressive facilitator for Redmond over the summer. She constantly outworks opponents to get in the mix on the glass, plays with high effort on both ends, and will be a key player for them this winter.

Sofia is a lightning quick guard who can get downhill smoothly with either hand. She has a soft touch around the rim and does a fantastic job at adjusting through contact to get the bucket. Her jumper can catch fire after she sees a couple go in the basket, as well. She is poised for a big season.

She’s a strong guard who was especially effective getting downhill to her left, but she also started to heat up with the jumper later in the day. Used some nice moves to free herself up in the midrange and also capitalized on some space behind the arc to drop in some threes. Excellent rebounder and also made some nice finds on the break to help facilitate.
