A+ efforts in the post have led to winning weekends throughout the spring & summer for Sophia and the Panthers. One of her best showings, the AC Showcase, saw her battle through double teams and finish at the rim time & time again. I’ve seen vast improvements in her footwork and her ability to both absorb physicality and dish it out. She slides into the Top 90 in this latest update.

At 6 feet tall with a strong frame, Sophia is extremely difficult to contain in the post. She does an excellent job establishing position on the block and making defenders work for every stop. When double teams arrive, Sophia remains composed and finds open teammates with smart kick-out passes. Her combination of strength, size, and feel for the game makes her a constant presence around the basket.

A six-foot forward who brings great energy & physicality to the floor. Most effective with her back to the basket; uses her strength to establish position, keep defenders contained & back them down for quality scoring looks. Her low-post game continues to evolve, highlighted by steadily improving footwork & body control on the block.
