Expert Analysis
Ally McGinnis | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Based on the way she played Friday night, it would be easy to think that Glynn is a much older and more experienced player. From the first tip, the Rosemount 8th grader grabbed the bull by horns, dominating the floor for the Dream. She was super aggressive with the ball in her hands, looking to get downhill to the rim early and often. Standing somewhere around 5’9 with a solidly built frame, Sophia has the physical strength needed to contend with the older players on the court, allowing her to barrel her way to the basket and finish through contact in the lane. Defensively, Glynn displayed an off-the-charts work ethic and showed a real knack for blocking her opponents shots in transition.
