Sophie proved to be a dependable perimeter scorer with her consistent shooting ability. She showed good balance and mechanics when stepping into shots from the outside. Her willingness to take and make open looks added value to her team’s offense. Sophie’s shooting presence helped create spacing throughout the tournament.

Sophie has a great skillset in her arsenal. She can drive the ball inside, and has a nice midrange game. And she’s able to use her size and strength when she’s going to the rim. You can see her get a determined look on her face, and she steps on the gas and goes right into the heart of the defense when she wants to make a play. She can also hit the deep ball; dropping in three 3-pointers in the second half of one of her games on Saturday.

She’s trustworthy with the ball in her hands as well, and knows when to distribute the ball. She also has great leadership skills; when her team was down by double digits in a Sunday game, she helped get them back within striking distance before the end of the game.

Sophie is a great player with the ball in her hands. She can drive the lane, and has a nice midrange game. She uses her size and strength with precision when she’s driving to the rim for a layup.

She’s a great downhill dribbler. She gets a determined look on her face, and goes right into the teeth of the defense-looking fearless as she puts in a layup. Sophie scored 16 points against Breakaway, and then another 18 against Pink Elite .

Sophie’s also a strong leader for her Take Over team. They fell behind big double-digits in a game against Breakaway, but Sophie helped get the game back within striking distance in the final minutes.
