Sophie is a tough eval for me, because she has put together strong games throughout the last couple of Springs & Summers during grassroots play, however, she plays limited minutes for Crown Point during the Winters. She is a solid athlete, she has some strength to her, and she seems to understand the game well and have an impact, whether she is defending or scoring the ball from all three levels. She has some touch outside, she can drive it a little, and she’s willing to play through contact inside….

Sophie played in 26 games last season, and after averaging 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds per game, coupled with the graduation of five 2024s, she could see those numbers improve significantly. The Bulldogs won’t have a lot of experience to lean on, so hers will be valuable. She has improved tremendously over the past 12-18 months as well. She is much stronger, a nice athlete, and she has become more confident and assertive offensively. If she can continue that trajectory early this season, she could be a double-double kid by the end.

Sophie is one of the younger prospects in the Crown Point program who could have a great chance to step into big minutes in 2024-2025. She has a solid to strong, athletic frame, she moves well in most directions, and she plays with some versatility. She is willing to be physical inside, especially defensively, but she is very good in the mid-post, and she’s starting to show comfort around the arc.
