Ava, a wing for Indiana Game, made her presence felt as a playmaker during the MI College Tour III stop at Grand Valley on Saturday with her ability to impact the game in multiple ways. She showed a polished mid-range game and used strong footwork to finish effectively around the basket. Defensively, she was disruptive—anticipating passes, stepping into passing lanes, and forcing turnovers. She also did a great job establishing position inside, sealing defenders to create opportunities near the rim. Ava contributed on the glass, battled for loose balls, and came up with blocks, consistently making winning plays on both ends of the floor.

Ava came off the screen for a really nice mid range shot and showed me that she has the size to be able to play inside or outside. Solid frame inside and out. Also, a solid rebounder, in position and owns the paint.

Strong power move on the block- And-1! Connects on the charity stripe. Great defensive pressure on the press, creates turnovers leading to fast breaks. Ava had a nice season for Crown Point this Winter, and I feel like she had a solid weekend in Mishawaka as well. She has a fairly strong frame, but she’s also a nice athlete who plays with a good motor. She can be physical, battle in the mid-post or around the block, and she has a nice mid-range jumper. She’s also skilled enough to play around the perimeter, handle it a little, and attack North/South. She is the type of inside-out ‘4’ small colleges like to recruit.
