Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
I think this young lady is fun to watch. For one, she has battled adversity from her injury. From there, it was nothing but heart and determination that saw her through. This kid loved to share the ball and she delivered the rock to her teammates so effortlessly. When it came to her time to score, she would get paint touches, knock them down from three, or finish with a lay. She was solid on defense, but I loved it when the Lady Feet were in transition because she was the leading catalyst starting the break. She is a hard worker who will be impactful at the next level.

Her leadership was on display as this senior wanted it so much more. She has been a part of opportunities such as these, however, yesterday was her turn, and she took full advantage of the moment. She finished with twelve points while playing solidly throughout the course of the game. Her performance helped her club advance, and we can look for her to do the same as her team looks to compete for their spot in TSSAA history.

She’s just solid. She knows when and where to make the right plays. I love her ability to shoot it from afar, but she doesn’t even hesitate on putting the ball on the floor and finishing at the rim. Her ability to push the ball and get her team into favorable sets will be all the difference in this matchup. Look for her to be effective early and often.

Heady ball player who plays with a motor. Makes the right reads, shoots at a high clip, and will attack the basket. She is coming off an injury and looking better than ever. Her confidence is there, her shot is on time, I mean she is playing with a lot of poise and confidence. This is the best I have ever seen her and it’s scary what she is doing to ball clubs. I love her energy and how she has become a student of the game. She sees things that most don’t and you can tell that comfort level is just there.

Solid kid who knows her role and does it at a consistent clip. She’s a workhorse who doesn’t get the publicity, however she is like the glue girl that keeps it all together. Yes she can score from multiple spots, but with incredible court awareness , she knows who has the hot hand and can deliver it at a consistent rate. She’s a poised floor general. Doesn’t get rattled . She shows up, does her work, and just competes. A talented kid who leaves everything out on the floor.

Shifty guard with a nice hesitation game. Gets downhill in a hurry. Nice cutter off the ball. Needs to become a better shooter, but her ability to get paint touches is very good. Nice finisher and facilitator in the paint. Terrific on the ball defender with active feet and hands.

She’s getting better and better on both ends. It wasn’t her best shooting weekend, but still managed to average 7 points a game. Her 3 assists per game also show the improvements she’s made to her overall game. McInturff is primed for a big time senior year.

is really really impressive as a two way PG! Her ability to both apply pressure on the ball defensively, while also not giving up blow by’s is high level! She’s turned herself into a 3 level scorer that can get hot and win a few minute stretch. Also isn’t scared to get nose dirty rebounding the basketball. Averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds on the weekend.

McInturff has now started stacking solid performance on top of solid performance, and you have to like the hot streak it feels like Webb is leaning towards. With their overall talent, and the performances of some of their young talent (ex:

McInturf got going for Webb, as she scored 18 points and had 8 rebounds (6 offensive) in a win. McInturff is a big-time player that hasn’t quite had the season some expected…but Webb definitely still has the talent to make a deep post season run. Who is going to want to face the defending state champs in the Boro? And who is going to want to play them is Sophie gets going like those who know her game, know she can. Kid is a 18 point a game scorer, and when it’s consistent, Webb is really dangerous.
