About Stella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High bb IQ and pure shooter with the ability to stretch the floor from deep offensively. Comfortable operating under pressure and creating for others. I have a midrange pull-up, a consistent floater package with both hands and soft touch at the rim, allowing to finish at all 3 levels. Defensively, I take pride in guarding multiple positions, playing with effort and intensity on both ends.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a very positive and happy person. I enjoy making friends and meeting new people. I feel it’s important to lift people up and spread positivity. When it comes to basketball, I’m very focused, coachable and an unselfish player. I take training and practice very serious, and believe if I practice and train hard, that will carry over easily in a game. In games I’m locked in and never showboat.

A very smooth combo guard that was a pleasure to watch in person. Stella took off AAU this summer to focus on her game as she headed into her freshman season at the High School level. The hard work has paid off showing a very strong complete skill set. A shooter in all 3 phases: outside jumper, mid-range jumper and the pull up jumper off the dribble. Impressive was the vision that she plays with. You can see the eye scanning the floor reading the defense before making the pass.

Nice transition decisions lead to easy scoring opportunities for her teammate and herself. Good rebounding guard that did not mind getting in the mix for the board. Great size for a guard that can play either the point or shooting spot. Keep an eye on this young lady, she can hoop.
