About Stella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a team player who can create my own shot either inside or outside. I can finish around the rim in a variety of ways. My 3 point shooting has improved drastically as I work every day at my game. I play good team and individual defense. I am a team player and good teammate. I want my team to play hard, play together & win. I have a high basketball IQ as I'm a coaches kid, a gym rat.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a growth mindset and always know I can work to improve. I am a good teammate and try to always encourage my teammates. I have been working on becoming more of a leader as well. I am easy going and more reserved by nature. I work hard and want to always do my best.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Basketball, church youth, schools most athletic in my class, and most likely to play in the Olympics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership and mindset training through DOMOJO company. I have developed a Growth Mindset and learned that discipline is the driving force behind my success. I am improving my leadership skills as I took a class at school and my coach (dad) is always talking about how I can improve in this area. I do community service through school and our youth group.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I recently moved to a new school so trying to fit in to my new team yet prove as a freshmen I can play on varsity.

What type of college are you looking for?

D2, NAIA one that challenges me and pushes me to be my best academically, socially, spiritually and athletically.
