Sydelle showed a nice combination of shooting and playmaking during the 5v5 portion of the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase. The Team 10 guard knocked down multiple shots from behind the arc, making her a threat from the perimeter. She also displayed excellent court vision and passing ability, consistently seeing plays develop and finding her teammates. Sydelle was especially effective in transition, where she kept her eyes up and delivered some impressive passes in the open floor.

Sydelle is another guard I’d love to see at the Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Freshman Showcase. She has the tools to be a very intriguing prospect in the 2030 class with a well-rounded offensive game and the ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor. Her ball handling allows her to create scoring opportunities, and she has shown the ability to knock down the pull-up jumper while also scoring in a variety of other ways. Just as importantly, she plays under control, makes good decisions with the basketball, and contributes in areas that help her team win. I’d welcome the opportunity to evaluate her in person and see how her skill set translates against a talented group of freshmen at MSA Fieldhouse.

Outstanding guard with a solid skill set for her age. She has a great pull-up shot, good handles with the ability to score in variety of ways. Makes good decisions and is able to help her team at both ends of the floor.

She hit a couple of clutch shots, including two free throws with seconds to go to secure their victory on Sunday. Good outside shot, solid handles with the ability to distribute. Will find the best pass and distribute the ball. Good ceiling for her!
