About Sydney

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a high-impact basketball player and a true general on the court who leads unapologetically and naturally. I am a top scorer, rebounder, playmaker and also ranking high in assists. I pride myself in impacting the game in multiple ways. I play with strong court vision, a high basketball IQ, and consistent intensity. You can count on me to produce.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am determined and fully committed to whatever I do—whether it’s basketball, school, or art. I can lock in, focus under pressure, and create results, bringing the same drive and intensity to every challenge.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a straight-A student who serves as the technology coordinator on Student Council and am an active participant in STARBASE. I take pride in excelling both academically and in leadership roles, bringing the same focus and discipline to the classroom that I bring to the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through basketball and my school activities, I’ve learned how to inspire and support others, communicate clearly, and work toward shared goals. Balancing sports, academics, and extracurriculars has strengthened my focus, perseverance, and ability to adapt in challenging situations. These experiences have shaped me into someone who contributes positively to every team and community I’m part of.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I broke my finger at the base in the middle of a game. I adjusted immediately and finished the game relying only on my right hand, court awareness, and toughness. I don’t back down when things get hard — I adapt, lead, and find ways to impact the game no matter the circumstances. I ended up being out for 6 weeks due to the break, but finished that game strong.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can compete at a high level, be pushed every day in practice, & contribute to a winning culture. I want a program that values hard work, accountability, & leadership, with a coaching staff that develops players both on & off the court. Academics matter to me, & I’m seeking a school that equally supports my goals in the classroom, as well as my goals on the court.
