The mountains are calling, and Sydney Hayes Sydney Hayes 5'9" | CG Alexander Central | 2023 NC has responded as she commits to play at Lees McRae.  Hayes has a specialty of the catch and shoot always being ready to put up her shot knowing how to catch the ball, shift it in her hands, and shoot the ball before her opponents even have a chance of closing out.  Unfortunately for opponents, she can do this all over the court including beyond the arc.  She even does this running full speed on backdoor cuts knowing how to find the gaps on defense.  On her own defensive possessions, she isn’t shy about diving on the floor going after loose balls.
