How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Forward with a soft middle range shot, good low post play, with the ability to drive and shoot from beyond the arch. Good defensive instincts and rebounding ability.

Bubbly personality and optimistic natured. I am friendly, talkative with others, and see the bright side of life. Willing to contribute to the team for whatever is needed.

Peer Leader at Centennial High School. National Honor Society at Centennial High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Coaching and reffing youth basketball for the Centennial Basketball Association. Assistant for Summer Basketball Camps. Youth Group Leader at our Church. Assists PTA with activities at local elementary schools.

Schmitz was Centennial’s second-leading scorer last year, averaging 12.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game and showing the ability to put up bigger numbers in the future. A smooth three-point shooter with a fast release, Schmitz also contributes steals, blocks, and mid-range buckets. While she is a bit of a tweener in terms of size and position, Schmitz projects well for D3. She should be a focal point for the Cougars this year.
