gave maximum effort to help lead her team to one of the biggest wins in recent years for her school. Neal scored timely buckets and grabbed some timely rebounds in a close game. Neal also held her own on the defensive end giving up height and size, but not heart. Neal ran the floor, converted a layup on the pick and roll, and continued to draw fouls all game. Neal was a standout and her play inspired her teammates.

is another player whose impact can not be documented on a score sheet or stat sheet. Neal chases down balls and gets it to her guards and sometimes it’s just a loose ball she got possession of. She provides a physical presence in the middle and keeps the opposing center from securing the rebound. Sometimes she may change a shot and not block a shot. Neal is also a good passer out the post and sometimes her crisp pass may lead to a score on the subsequent pass. Her basketball Iq is also another characteristic that doesn’t show on the stat sheet.

TaCari Neal was a beast at Southern jam. She really impressive with her hustle on the floor. She was physical and mixed it up in the paint, fought for position and rebounded very well on both ends of the floor. Her rebound positioning her physicality. She was also impressive with her scoring in pick and roll situations. Neal’s basketball IQ was equally impressive. She does little things on the floor that reveal her intellect and instincts on the floor. It didn’t just start this weekend. Neal was instrumental in helping University Christian punch their ticket to the State Playoffs in Lakeland.
