Takyla Reynolds Takyla Reynolds 5'7" | SF/SG Carroll | 2027 State LA earns her spotlight in Part 6 of Making Their Move as she climbs Louisiana’s 2027 rankings. With experience at Carroll and with WBBP, she has a foundation to build on heading into the high school season.

From my coaching and scouting perspective, I’m interested in how she continues developing across her guard and wing roles. Consistent decision-making, defensive effort, and contributions within Carroll’s system will be key areas to follow as she works toward her next step.

Congratulations on the climb, Takyla—keep competing and give us more reasons to remember your name!

Reynolds is an energetic player who brings intensity to every game, making each matchup highly competitive. She is a rebounding and rim-running guard with a downhill basketball mentality. She is always moving toward the ball, which makes her effective on both sides of the court. Offensively, this movement makes her a threat to score at the rim, and on defense, it helps her be a pest, creating turnovers and additional offensive opportunities. Carroll has the talent to make significant strides this season, and Reynolds will be a key part of their growth.
