Taniah Pace Taniah Pace 6'0" | PF/C Joshua | 2030 State TX brought raw strength and a highly skilled post game to the court for Team 7. Standing at an imposing 6’0″, Pace is a true back-to-the-basket post player, but her unquestionable skill allows her to play the 3 or 4 positions as well, seamlessly. During the 5-on-5 competitions, she was the BEST player that I evaluated. She dominated her opponents on the glass, routinely securing rebounds over multiple defenders. She also blocked and altered shots around the rim with excellent timing.

Offensively, she flashed elite footwork, highlighted by a beautiful spin move in the post that she finished strong for a tough and-1 bucket that made me get up out of my seat. To top it all off, she stretched the floor and proved her outside range by knocking down a smooth 3-pointer. After she hit that shot, I was left wondering if there is anything she can’t do—because if there is, it certainly wasn’t obvious.

Apart from her extensive skill set, Taniah has that Dog mentality, consistently diving for loose balls and outhustling everyone on the floor. Pace has tremendous upside and possesses the talent, size, and skill set to play at the collegiate level. On this day, she was flat-out dominant and proved that she is THAT GIRL!

Pace forced and secured several 50/50 loose balls, routinely outworking opponents to secure extra possessions for her team. Pace is the type of energy player every coach wants on their team. She plays with a toughness that shifts momentum, giving her squad an instant physical edge.

Pace has the right last name because she continues to show me a high ceiling; see evaluations here As much as I love seeing the “hands and footwork” because it’s from another era, she also gives me another #THROWBACK, which has become a lost art, follows her shot! Her timing and rebounding have gotten better, and so has her finishing after contact when attacking off the dribble

Pace had me intrigued off the top as her club coach had told me earlier a few tidbits about her, yet seeing her move fluidly on both ends to go with standing at “the magic number” as well as being “long and athletic” with a solid skillset all adds to the equation as her upside is scary see evaluations here

Pace is working on that NIL deal for the picante sauce because her upside is HOT and SPICY, yet even though she can do things MILD in the flow, seeing how strong she is, as well as her going AFTA rebounds was one thing, but handling the ball the length of the floor to score was another. She was playing up, and her UPSIDE is scary. She gave the “hands and footwork” to score, she played the passing lane, and her interior defense looked good
