Tatum was a player I was not familiar with coming into the week, but whose game I came to respect after it. She is a very skilled player, but her big motor and high energy had a direct impact on the games I watched United NJ play. Defensively, Sharpe caused a lot of problems with her length and very good athleticism deflecting and stealing passes while making life miserable for opposing players when she was on the ball. Offensively, she was able to add to her point total in almost every game I saw by hitting the offensive boards hard and being the first to loose balls. When she did have the basketball and room to operate, she showed good patience on one play letting the cutter get through with her defender before driving to the block, giving a head fake, and then pivoting into the paint and scoring on the up and under. She was a constant threat to score when her team had the ball in transition and also made some very nice passes to open teammates. The Lafayette College commit should have a good career playing for the Pards in the Patriot League.

The Lafayette commit jumps 6 spots into the Top 20 after recent “grade A” performances in Skillman and Atlantic City. Versatile two-way play is the name of her game, something that’s made her a matchup problem all summer long.

A hustle that few players matched. Impressive skying in from the far side for defensive rebounds. Extremely tenacious knifing through the defense on her way to the basket.

Notable hustle and effort to stick with the play. She cleaned up errors and created second chance points for a United NJ team that loves to run and get out in transition. Her length was majorly impact on defense, able to defend up top and also drop back to protect the rim.

Tatum is a developing two-way player who contributes across the board. She defends and rebounds at a high level while continuing to grow as a scorer. Tatum shows strong balance around the rim, allowing her to absorb contact and still finish. She also has a soft touch inside and can step out to knock down perimeter shots, while showing solid vision when moving the ball.

Long, lanky and quick! Her length was both effective offense and disruptive on defense. Multiple steal-and-score plays; quick defense to offense conversion. Excellent anticipation and timing; big-time chase-down block on one play in the first half vs PA Royals.

Tatum was “sharp” sprinting ahead of the pack for seemingly easy layups in transition. Advantageous length maneuvering through defenders to get off shots over players of equal height or taller (nice floater in the lane). Fluid mover with long strides and high energy.

Tatum is known for a versatile, Swiss-Army knife type of game; long, quick and efficient scoring it at multiple levels. I saw a lot of that on display today, including lots of disruption in the passing lanes that gave girls headaches. Something that really stood out today was her footwork in the paint. She has fine-tuned a lot of things, including a pretty step-through and the ability to escape doubles.
