Alexander caught my eye at the Mansfield Spring Creek Invitational last year and had both of them wide open on the PGH Circuit, see evaluations here, so her being a “long and athletic” guard who rebounded and went coast to coast to score or dish was nice, yet so was her “on the ball” pressure. She created her shot to drop the jumper and also showed the “catch and shoot”

Tiyana always seems to be in the right place at the right time. She does a really good job on the offense boards, she has good length. Excellent defender with the trap and pressure, forces mistakes.

Alexander closed the deal at #DuelForTheDynasty on where she would be listed but it was going to happen after the Mansfield Spring Creek Invitational. Her club team name fits perfectly as she showed she could TAKEOVER games on either end and watching her hit a big shot with a hand in her face or play the passing lane and score or dish, both were huge momentum changers. She also showed she could score in droves

Alexander’s smoothness on both ends was nice as she used a deceptive first step coupled with a slight HEZ to get the defender off balance and attack the basket from multiple spots yet her body control after the lick was also nice, especially since she finished with either hand. She saw the floor in the set as well as in transition, she did a good job applying defensive pressure and she played the passing lane but she’s a long and athletic guard who also rebounds, here’s what I saw last DECEMBER

Alexander is a big guard, just a shade under “the magic number” and she grabbed my attention playing multiple positions during my annual Holiday Tournament viewing back in in December. I mentioned she was “long and athletic” because that’s very important and her intangibles stood out on the defensive end yet she showed me she score off the dribble attacking with either hand yet more importantly, finishing after contact, with either hand. Solid body control helped, so did her strength
