Such a smooth ball handler for a bigger guard/wing. Behind the back dribble moves to fake out defenders. Gliding takes in transition and halfcourt, leading to through contact powerful finishes. The Southeastern signee is fun to watch and she was an one woman fast break in a big second half that saw Harsthorne advance to tomorrow. Had 12 points and 9 rebounds, much of that come in the second half. And most importantly, her impact seemed to be that of an energy giver.

Killburn was Hartshorne’s most consistent threat throughout and especially in a big fourth quarter that helped her team secure the season opening win. It started with early catch and shoot triples, then in the second half she did her damage on drives and around the basket. Including earning trips to the free throw line. Some of her scores came off hard work in transition, either sprinting without the ball to get early position. Or a nice coast to coast old fashion three point play, which was part of Hartshorne’s answer to every push by Howe. She was crucial down the stretch thanks to being money at the line. Great balance of efficient scoring and “gamer” mentality.

Tori has transferred from McAlester to Hartshorne. The 5’10 small forward has committed to Southeastern Oklahoma to play ball. Strong body that does not might playing inside with the contact. Does a great job using her size and strength against taller players on defense holding down the paint. Great footwork in the pain finishing at times with a smooth spin move. Tori adds a player that can offensively go inside/out and toughness on defense. Expect several double doubles this season.

Kilburn happened to be with Allen and after finding out they would be attending high school together, I knew that the 1/2 combination would be hard to handle because Tori could also drop the 3. Over the years, I have watched her play all 5 positions when needed, effectively, and seeing her go AFTA the ball and outrebound has always been a treat, as well as her scoring around the basket after contact against those same taller players. She also defends, in and outside the paint, and knocks down the midrange

Strong forward that showed great low post moves. Patient with the ball on the moves using up/under and nice drop step pin to score at times. Runs the floor with hands ready to catch and finish on layups. Nice outside and mid range shot on offense. Hustled for every loose ball and rebounds no matter what the score was.
Tori has committed to Southeastern Oklahoma University Noted I was told that she has transferred high school for the upcoming school season

Kilburn showed her versatility playing under the basket, yeah I know she’s a shooting guard that can score in droves from to long-range yet she stands around “that magic number” which is 6’0, college coaches love big guards that can shoot yet they also love those who can play multiple positions, which is a great word because she understands “positioning” and outrebounded taller player, and scored over them inside the paint. Yes, she still drained from outside, stop and pop was especially nice

Guard that showed right away she has good hands and can finish at the rim on drives. At 5’10 runs the floor great in transition looking to run ahead for layups. Tori rebounded well needing no outlet as she handles the ball with great vision on the break. I liked her footwork in the post area doing most of the work before catching the ball.
