Katie has transferred from McAlester to Hartshorne. The sharp shooter has already committed to Southeastern Oklahoma. Katie is a very skilled guard that can play the 1-3 positions. An experience player at the PG spot as well. She brings a great defensive presence and a high basketball IQ. The addition of Katie and some others will have Hartshorne in the hunt this year.

A shooting guard that has one of the quickest release I saw all weekend. Diffidently a catch and shoot type player that need almost no space to get the shot off. Played point at times Saturday bringing the ball down in certain situations. Moves great on offense off the ball using multiple of screens to get open. Fast in transition with the ball pushing up the floor with the dribble or pass. A player that had people in the stands yelling fine her!
Katie has committed to Southeaster Oklahoma University. Noted I was told that she has transferred high school for the upcoming school season

I spoke yesterday about the 2025 class and how some of the great players in the class can kind of go unnoticed because the class is absolutely loaded with talent from top to bottom. I think that Katie is definitely one of those players who is not getting nearly the attention that she deserves. You just don’t see many players with the shooting ability that she has. Not just the ability to hit the three, which she definitely can do, but you hardly ever see many athletes at this level just rise up and take a midrange because the space was offered to them. She is a pure scorer. Her sneaky hops and ability to get her shot off if given even a foot or two reminds me a lot of 2024 No. 3 player

Katie is a guard that possess all the skills in the PG position. She has great range from outside connecting on several 3’s Strong handles allowing her to handle the coontact driving to basket finishing with an And 1. Aggressive on offense end pushing the tempo up the floor while playing lock down defense in the full court. A player that goes all out on every play. The gritness and toughness makes her a tough competitor.

impacted the game tremendously with her shooting. In one game, I recorded five three pointers that she made, with one coming off of the dribble. There might have been some that I missed on counting, but five is still an impressive number. Hesitation is something that she does not know about, as she would let it fly without a second thought. That was the only game that I saw her play, but if a sharp shooter is what you are looking for, she should be at the top of your list.
