At this point, I am surprised that Tylaiah’s recruiting has not taken off yet. Wily is by far the best point guard in Arizona’s 2028 class because of her ability to defend at a high level, tight handles, facilitate, finish around the rim, hit the mid range and long range shots. Wily is extremely skilled, has a quick first step and can lead a team. She had huge games back to back weekends at Section 7 and Native Nationals. After her massive performances back to back weekends, I expect mid major programs to start getting involved as Wily has tremendous upside.

Tylaigh is a high-motor guard, who has a plethora of skills under her belt. She has very good leadership skills and is very competitive as soon as she steps on the floor. She does not shy away from physical contact, and constantly attacks defenders. She has a tight handle, and the ability to create off the dribble. She has a quick, explosive first step, which allows her to get downhill and places pressure on the defense. Overall, Tylaiah is a very aggressive guard who can become a high-impact player at the next level.

Wily’s quick first step was tough for the defenders to contain. She got into the paint consistently and showed comfort navigating through tight spaces. She also showed the ability to stretch the defense with her perimeter shot.

With Gilbert shorthanded, Wily did what high-level point guards do — she kept them organized and competitive. Crafty with the handle, Wiley consistently found seams in the defense and got into the paint. She’s comfortable creating off the bounce, whether it’s a pull-up or a drop-off to a teammate. Her ability to shift gears and change pace kept Basha’s defenders honest all night.

is an outstanding point guard and had a solid showing at the Classic. She is very poised and calm for a young player especially under pressure. She displayed excellent leadership abilities which is rare for a sophomore. She is a very good shooter and she can score from all 3 levels. She also makes good decisions with eh basketball and she handles the ball well in traffic and under pressure. She is a tough defender and she can defend multiple positions. Look for Wily to be one of the top guards in the state by her Senior year.

Wily is my favorite floor general in the state as she makes an impact on both ends of the floor. She had a fantastic summer and will be a huge part of Gilbert’s success this winter. Wily can score from all three levels, get to the cup at will to distribute or finish around the rim. I expect her stock to skyrocket into the summer as she is worthy to be a mid major prospect.
