Lucas’ climb into the top ten is reflective not only of her being on the best scorers in the city but also due to her upside. She has good footwork, shoots the three with deep range and smooth release and is a polished finisher in transition or off the bounce. Her length enables her to get to passes defensively many cannot and has the speed to not get run down. Lucas also is effective at all three guard spots in the half court. The Greater Wichita Activities League honorable mention selection should garner solid state level honors in 2026.

Lucas’ consistency running the floor yields good transition looks for her and her teammates. Able to get a step on most defenders Lucas also shot well in the mid-range and from beyond the arc. She finished well with athleticism and elevation.

Lucas showed off both her strong handles and her shooting chops by knocking down a set of three point shots. And while she has quick hands and is a capable defender her light build caused her trouble staying with physically bigger guards running through screens and flashing through traffic in the paint. An important part of the Blue Aces’ young team.

Tink has made an immediate impact as a freshman, playing well beyond her years with her impressive basketball IQ and sharp shooting ability. Despite her age, she approaches the game with a maturity that sets her apart from many upperclassmen. Her understanding of the game is exceptional, as she reads defenses and makes quick, smart decisions on the floor. Tink’s shooting ability is equally impressive—whether from long range or mid-range, she consistently knocks down shots with confidence and precision. Her composure under pressure and ability to stay focused in fast-paced situations make her a key contributor, and it’s clear that she has the potential to become a dominant player in the years to come.
