Woolsey is out east for the Girls UAA with the Arkansas Banshees. She’s reuniting with a couple familiar faces in 918 standouts Madi Hill and Yaya Gibson. All three are among the best prospects in Oklahoma because they share one thing in common. They PRODUCE. All had very productive and hard working junior campaigns. Woolsey in particular was a complete workhorse all season long for Broken Bow. Helping to lead them to a 26-5 mark, plus a Class 4A State Tournament appearance. The Southeast Oklahoma standout is a bruiser when it comes to rebounding and establishing position. While also having soft touch out to the mid-range.

Woolsey is a problem on the block. She knows her role, to run the floor hard for transition points. Get to her spots in the halfcourt to get deep position for post ups. Sets strong screens and cuts to the basket. In a recent viewing against Class 3A power Washington, they had no answer for her early on. Even with a couple defenders draped all over her, she would snag rebounds or secure passes, then quickly score. Seems automatic from 8 feet and in. Tough blue collar forward, who forms one of the best one-two punches in Oklahoma with Cauthron.

With fellow junior Cauthron breaking the game open in transition, there was less halfcourt opportunities for the dominant post player. She has good touch from 10 feet in and plays strongly around the rim. When she draws a crowd, is an eager passer to open teammates. Makes for one of the best one-two punches in the state for the 4A contending Lady Savages.

Power forward that has great size and hands to be highly effective in the low post. Good over the shoulder with either hand making it hard to double team for only one side. When a team does double she has a great understanding of reading the opposite kick out for the jumper. Strong lower body strength seals off the opposing defender creating good passing lanes for the feed inside.
Outstanding defender on the block that brings aspect of defending the paint. Strong lower body moves the opposing post off the block but has the athletic ability to rotate and help blocking the shot. Broken Bow has the tools to make a serious run for the State Tournament this season.

Woolsey is a force on the block, as an efficient and smart scorer. Has outstanding touch from 8 feet and in, capable of scoring with either hand. And is smart with the ball, passing out of doubles with good vision and feel. To complete her productive ways, she rebounds with an “every board is mine” mindset. Which ends possessions and creates her fair share of second chance points on offense. After a couple strong years in Southeastern Oklahoma, Woolsey and the Lady Savages should be ready to make a State Tournament push in the always rugged Class 4A.

While Woolsey is tucked away in the southeastern corner of Oklahoma, her high school and AAU production has always been loud. This past week, it was in state program Northeastern State that took notice and extended an offer to the rising junior. The Lady Riverhawks have done a good job of recruiting Oklahoma. But expect it to be the first of many for a prospect who plays with great tenacity as a rebounder and good feel as a post pivot.

In the game watched, Woolsey beat up the opposition on the glass. Even on offensive rebounds attempts, she’s often first to the ball with her quickness and tenacity. Was automatic from 6 foot in, finishing fluidly with both hands. And she has great chemistry with her high school and AAU teammate, Cauthron. One of the more steady performers in 2027, who always leaves her mark on games.

Production, production, production. Demands double teams on the block, due to her physicality and also finesse finishing with either hand. Monster on the glass, especially attacking on the offensive end. When she draws a crowd, she doesn’t force bad looks. Remains calm in the face of double teams and makes the right pass to set up her teammates for good looks. Hard to find a hole in her game, as she continues to simply produce for Class 4A darkhorse, Broken Bow.

Woolsey is one of the premier low post scorers in Oklahoma. Broken Bow went to her early and often. Good finishing with either hand, fluid movements. Can post up, or run the floor well. When she started drawing a crowd, was a good passer. Making the correct reads, often leading to hockey and regular assists. Blocked a handful of shots as well, quick hands and good anticipation skills to slid over and make contests without fouling. Building off a strong freshman campaign, with an even better sophomore year.

is a highly touted recruit who has a lot of potential. She is a tall, strong player who can score from anywhere on the court. She has a high ceiling, and with her size and strength, she has the potential to be a dominant player in the post. She is committed to rebounding and defending, and she has the potential to be a force on the boards and on the defensive end.
