The Hortonville native was impressive with her Wisconsin Impact group over the summer. Hoell showed the physical and athletic tools to affect the game on both ends of the floor, and could earn important minutes with the Polar Bears this coming winter. She shot the ball well when I saw her play, and I thought she moved her feet well defensively. She is an intriguing rising sophomore who could play a role at the top of the FVA over the next three seasons.

One of the more impressive players, to burst onto the scene, this summer is Hortonville’s 5-10 sophomore Hoell. Offensively she has showed true three-level scoring ability consistently knocking down threes while also getting to the basket, at ease, and finishing over traffic and through contact. Defensively she is very athletic and uses that athleticism, long arms, and quick hands to disrupt her opponents offensive flow. Hortonville is another program that does not ever seem to rebuild, just reload, and I expect big things from Hoell this winter for the Polar Bears.
