Vivian finished top 15 in scoring at EYBL Session 1 for 17u… nearly 17 per game! The efficiency was impressive, particularly from long-range (41%) and the FT line (88%). Her length and sharpshooting are absolute gamechangers. Vivian can now create her own shot off-the-dribble at a high level. She can play on-and-off the ball. Has the frame and athleticism to defend elite scorers on the wing. One of the highest ceilings in the 2027 class nationwide!

Vivian has a Power 4 frame to go along with an emerging all-around game. The athleticism and fluidity is a lethal combination at her size. Vivian has long strides and good speed in transition. She has the body control to make tough finishes around the basket. She can also stretch the floor, which makes her a mismatch nightmare in small ball lineups.

Vivian was already a capable spot-up shooter. As a junior, she showcased growth and creativity off-the-bounce. She can operate out of the triple threat and understands how to create space with her signature stepback. Defensively, Vivian has exceptional recovery and anticipation. Elite help defender who jumps passing lanes and swats shots from the weak side. High-upside wing who checks all the boxes. What can’t she do?

The long, athletic forward is a constant threat in transition, covering the floor with exceptional speed and tracking the ball to make tough catches or grab rebounds before taking off down the court. Her ability to turn defensive opportunities into quick scoring chances makes her a key weapon in the open floor.

She is steadily expanding her offensive arsenal, showing increasing comfort with her outside jump shot. She can knock down catch-and-shoot threes and is improving her ability to create off the dribble, forcing defenders to respect her range.

In the half court, her creativity with the ball is growing as well. She has added a variety of secondary moves that make her difficult to contain inside the three-point line, combining a dynamic handle with crafty finishes to keep defenders off balance.

Vivian continues to expand her game with each passing year, consistently adding new dimensions to her skill set. Her athleticism and length immediately stand out as she controls the glass and becomes a force in transition. She’s shown the rare ability to switch across all five positions, guarding true post players and quick guards in the same possession with ease. This season, she’s taken another leap offensively, developing her ball-handling and growing more effective as a face-up threat with the ability to string together moves to get to the basket. In multiple games, she clearly emerged as the best player on the floor, impacting both ends at a high level. Vivian’s explosiveness and versatility will make her a standout throughout the season.

As one of the most versatile players in the 2027 class, Vivian will star yet again in the Trinity League against the likes of Mater Dei and Santa Margarita. The shooting, athleticism, defensive instincts, rebounding, and body control all stand out. Vivian is crafty in the lane and utilizes spin moves and euros to her advantage. She will catch and shoot on the wing or use the shot fake to get to the rim. After an impressive summer with Team G , Vivian will carry that momentum forward to the high school season. Recruitment has picked up recently with offers from the likes of CSUN and the University of Illinois Chicago. With one of the highest ceilings in the state, she has all the tools to be a Power 4 starter down the road.

Vivian is a high upside stretch forward to add to your recruitment list. Does all the little things forwards should do; rims runs with purpose, flies into ball screens, seals smaller defender under the rim and finishes well around the rim. Solid shot foundation, comfortable popping or spacing out and knocking down open 3. Rim protector that cleans up the glass. Has a developing handle + will attack off the bounce.

Grenald averaged 13 points and 3 rebounds in her freshman season. Orangewood academy won the San Joaquin league and finished 22-10. Grenald was the team’s leading scorer in the 23-24 season. Finishing behind her are juniors Alissa Belen and Maria Mejia Maria Mejia 5'11" | PF Orangewood Academy | 2025 State CA . They all return this year with experience and look to be a threat yet again in the San Joaquin league.
