About Willa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Run and gun! I like to move the ball up the court as quickly as possible. Whether I am throwing the ball up court or running it up to look for the quick open pass. If there is no open pass, look to shoot if open or drive to the paint to create for myself or open up an opportunity for a teammate.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Work hard, play hard! I like to work hard in practice and during games. I love conditioning. I am very competitive. But I am also a loud and spunky person and I like to crack a joke here and there.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Student of the month

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was chosen to be team captain for my Junior and Senior year of basketball. I have been chosen to be the Student Section Leader for the student sections at athletic events to help lead cheer and pump up the crowd. I have also volunteered to coach a youth basketball team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

What type of college are you looking for?

A school with a feeling of close community. I would also like to have small to mid-size teacher to student ratio. Location (state) does not matter to me. What does matter is location as far as proximity to activities and things to do.
