Expert Analysis
Mike Benson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Willow began to see more varsity action this past season as a freshman and should solidify herself as a starter next season as a sophomore. She is Grafton’s tallest player and will need to be utilized next season if the Spoilers are looking to improve upon their 6-14 finish. I know Demers is up for the challenge. She is a solid post and has a ton of potential as a prospect. I like her footwork around the rim and her catching ability. She has the frame where she can put on some strength and still maintain her athletic ability. Willow is going to be a muli-year Region 2 selection in the future.

as one of the top scorers every time I see a box score for Grafton. Willow is an excellent young post with soft feet around the rim. She is just beginning to grow into her frame and could gain some more height in the next couple of years. She has strong legs and can move opponents around down low. She has a lot of potential as a player and could be something special in the future.

Willow is the younger sister of former Grafton standout Walker. She looks to be heading down a similar path of high school greatness. She is a solid 5’11 and seems to play with great enthusiasm on the court. She runs well and has the frame to get really strong, which will help with positioning around the basket. She is an excellent rebounder and her effort level allows her to keep multiple possessions alive for her squad. Willow is a name to keep an eye on as she goes into her high school career.

Willow has a bright future in high school. She has great fundamentals for a young post. If she continues to grow, she could be a big time prospect. She runs the floor well and fights for position. She has a soft touch around the rim. My favorite part of her game is that she keeps the ball high on offensive rebounds and her post moves.
