We have become very familiar with Lightfoot these past few years through what she has done on the AAU scene with Carolina All-Stars as well as in the high school realm with North Pitt. That would be defending 2A state champion North Pitt. In last season’s 2A state final vs. East Burke, the multi-talented big scored eight points – but made her biggest impact on the glass as she hauled in 15 rebounds. Along with what she has done on the basketball court, Lightfoot has also competed in track and field events throughout her athletic career – including the discus throw and the shot put.

Zihanna Lightfoot was grabbing rebounds well on both ends of the court. She’s tough getting the ball on the block bouncing off of contact and fighting for her points. Her offensive boards were an asset putting them right back up for her points. She used her length to knock the ball away on defense.

Zihanna Lightfoot had some nice moves in the paint going to work off the dribble, and she was a force grabbing rebounds for her team. She did a nice job plugging the paint stepping into help defense preventing her opponents from getting points at the rim. She scored off of offensive rebounds, too, being ready to put the ball right back up for her own points.

was making her presence known in the paint blocking shots, grabbing rebounds, and getting some points off the glass. She used power dribbles to score, and she battled through contact making some nice three point plays from the free throw line. Teams seem to consistently struggle when guarding her, especially when she can elevate up and over her opponents to score.

Zihanna Lightfoot had a nice outback on the block off an offensive rebound bringing some life to her team late in a tough matchup. She knew how to cut from block to block to get open, and she would stretch the floor being able to hit some midrange jumpers.
