About Ziley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast, aggressive and I have good court vision.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very tough and relentless. I do not give up & I'm driven to get better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I recieved an Honor Roll award from my school two years in a row.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have really good teamwork and I have been becoming a leader through my basketball position as point guard and team captain. I have also volunteered for a company called i9 where I coached children in grades k-6th grade. I had to direct them & teach them skill drills. I think this has also helped me become a leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was a freshman, I played varsity basketball and our entire team was seniors except me. The seniors didn't like me because they felt I was taking playing time from them. They felt they deserved it since they were older. At first I was intimidated by them, but I never gave up and I still tried working with them and by the end of the season, it was like I was one of them.

What type of college are you looking for?

My dream is to play basketball for a D1, 4 year college. I would also like the team to play fast pace and up tempo basketball. Academically, I would like their to be a Criminology, Science or Psychology program.
