What stands out most is her ability to be a “glue” player. She may not always need the ball to impact the game, but she finds ways to hold things together by rebounding on both ends, making defensive stops, and creating momentum plays. Prep Girls Hoops scout Simmie Colson noted that Soto made key plays that helped start or stop runs, which speaks to her awareness, toughness, and feel for the game.

Offensively, Soto can continue growing as a finisher and face-up forward, but her foundation is strong because she plays hard, understands her role, and competes inside. Defensively, she gives her team a physical presence with the ability to battle in the paint, clean up missed shots, and make winning plays that do not always show up in the box score.

Soto is the type of young prospect coaches love because she brings toughness, energy, and dependability every time she steps on the floor. As her skill package continues to develop, her ceiling will keep rising.
