<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #000080;font-size: 14pt;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Title IX All DMV Tournament Team: Part One</strong></span></span>
The Title IX Holiday Classic hosted over 75 teams from across the country and Prep Girls Hoops was in the building for the entire duration of the three day event. With so many teams and players this list will be very extensive but, rest assured there was a lot of outstanding play on the five courts.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #800000;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Jakia Brown-Turner - Bishop McNamara</strong></span></span>

Jakia's 19 point championship game performance earned her the bracket mvp award. Overall she had three solid all around performances scoring and rebounding in double digits in each.

Myah is only a freshman but she shined brightly on the big stage. Her three point accuracy was huge in the Reds making in to the championship game and them competing against the nations top team. She handled the point guard position like a seasoned veteran even when being pressured.

The Ginsberg Bracket wasn't tournament play but Rock Creek went undefeated and Kennedy led the way averaging over 25 points per game. She was the best player on the court in each game.

Shanell averaged over 30 points per game in the tournament and was phenomenal at the point and off the ball. She was deadly from beyond the arc making six 3-pointers in each game.

Georgetown Visitation breezed through the Patsy Mink Bracket going 3-0 in their championship run. Ellie had a couple of 20 plus games including a 22 point 15 rebound performance against the Perry School.
