SubscribeWe were all aware that Shae Littleford could be in store for a breakout season but I believe she has exceeded everybody expectations with her play and on top of her legendary play this season. Her team the Charleston Trojans are currently 19-0 and 7-0 in conference play. The Trojans are currently ranked #10 in the state and they are a fun team to watch, led by Littleford.
Shae Littleford offensively is like watching fireworks she can score the ball with ease and in a hurry. The lefty 5’8 guard has a smooth jump shot, she also had a slick tight handle and is very shifty with the ball in her hands. She has a unique ability to not only shoot the ball with range but also shoot the ball off the dribble which makes her so difficult to guard. On defense she is great with her anticipation to get into the passing lanes and get tons of steals, she also has great lateral movement and is a terrific help defender.
As a playmaker, she is really effective and is a plus passer that has really good vision. She simply sees the play before it happens and has an outstanding feel for the game. Also, she’s very crafty and she loves to get back to her left hand. As a sophomore shes making her case for not only an All-State nomination but she could make a run for Mrs. Basketball with her latest numbers, 30 points, 3 assists and 1 rebound against Taylorville. She added on to that with 30 points, 1 assist and 3 rebounds. Shae is currently averaging 23 ppg, 3.7 Ast, 3.6 Rebs and 3.9 Stl a game. While also being a key piece on an undefeated team. She is already getting division 1 interest and it will only be the beginning as she is one of the more fascinating prospects in a loaded 2021 class.
