Most Likely to get their First High Major offer: Whitney Hay, Elizabethtown. We’ve said it before and will say again, Hay is a certified bucket-getter. One of the better scorers in the state, Hay is going to grab the attention of plenty of coaches this weekend. If she scores with the type of efficiency she showed in the high school season, coaches are going to be quick to pull the trigger on a scholarship offer to one of the best in Kentucky’s Junior class.
Most Likely Team to go Undefeated this Weekend: Kentucky Clutch. They’re a really strong group with multiple D1 commits already on the roster. Clutch is headed to Music City Madness in Franklin, Tennessee with a roster loaded with the best players in Western Kentucky. Don’t be surprised to see them escape the weekend with a perfect record and more scholarship offers for their non-committed players.
Most Likely Player to Get Their First D1 Offer: Hope Sivori, Mercy. Hope is off and running with a great start for the Gym Rats and on track to have a really productive AAU season both on the court and with college coaches. Sivori only has an offer from Bellarmine right now but that should change.
Most Likely Player to Rack Up Offers: Ta’Ziah Jenks, Mercy. As mentioned on Monday, her stock is trending way up right now and Jenks is on the cusp of becoming one of the most popular names in the state of Kentucky. Currently ranked third behind two players that are considered top 50 players in America, Ta’Ziah isn’t far behind them if she has a great weekend.
Most Likely to Score the Most Points in a game this weekend: Amerah Steele, South Laurel. Amerah was already one of the best scorers in the state this season as a Junior. Formerly committed to EKU, Steele finds herself back on the recruiting market. Every coach loves a player that can score the ball and Amerah is one of the best in Kentucky at putting the ball in cylinder.
Most Likely to Get Hot and take over a Game: Maddie Scherr, Ryle. No real surprise here as Scherr is our highest ranked in 2020 and a nationally ranked prospect. Scherr is no stranger to taking over games when necessary as she helped to get Ryle a state championship last month. No one should be surprised if Maddie takes over a game this weekend. She’s an elite scorer.
