Here’s a quick look at the best prospects left on the board in 2020.
Ta’Ziah Jenks, Mercy – One of the best players in Kentucky regardless of class, Jenks has a solid sheet of offers to pick from when she decides to pull the trigger. Her size and versatility are going to land her at the mid major D1 level, at worst. Likely a high major player in college.
Whitney Hay, Elizabethtown – One of Kentucky’s best scorers, Hay has added some offers this spring AAU season but isn’t done yet. She benefits from seeing single coverage in AAU games and uses that to her advantage on the Kentucky Premier EYBL team.
Kendall Wingler, Meade County – A hot name of late with colleges, Wingler has added 4 offers since the spring started. Already over 2,000 career points, Kendall is a smooth scorer who doesn’t need to take 30 shots to get her numbers. Look for Wingler to be a solid mid D1 player.
Malea Williams, Scott County – Potentially the best player in the class because of her size and ability to stretch the floor, Williams has added several offers as the AAU season has rolled along. Expect her to be the go to scorer for Scott County this season and be a mid to high major D1 player.
Olivia Federle, Collins – Federle has been having a solid AAU season with Kentucky Premier-Souder and should be on the radar of many colleges after a strong Junior season saw her get Collins to the state tournament.
Lexi Taylor, Bullitt East – Wingler’s AAU teammate is having a good spring for the Royals and they combine to make a formidable 1-2 punch. It remains to be seen what level Lexi ends up in college but she is definitely a scholarship level player.
