Defensively, she looked much improved, moving her feet well, staying in front of her assignment, and getting a hand up to contest shots. She's a strong, physical guard who is equally effective on or off the ball. Jaelyn can score from any where on the floor, handles the ball well, and is an excellent finisher through contact. The last time I watched her, she played with great patience, using ball screens effectively and consistently making the right reads. She's at her best when she gets downhill, and she's a terrific finisher around the basket. Veronica also crashes the boards with purpose, and her defensive instincts always stand out. She's a difficult matchup on the offensive end with the ability to score inside while also stretching the floor with her perimeter shooting. Macee is also a strong rebounder and a physical interior defender who embraces doing the dirty work. She's around 5'9" with an athletic build and plenty of upside as a left-handed guard. Maya has can make shots from the mid-range, get to the rim, or toss of floaters in the lane. She also thrives playing at a fast pace and has a nose for the ball on the defensive end.
