<span style="font-weight: 400;">Players to watch</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">As summer ball is now in full swing, Prep Girls Hoops Kansas takes a look at some of the state’s top players on the rise in a variety of positions.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Below are some of the state’s players to keep your eyes on in the 2020 class</span> <strong>Elizabeth Thomas, G, 2020, Olathe Northwest</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">A good player who can do a little bit of everything on the floor. She looks to apply pressure on defense and contests shots when her opponent has an opening. she can handle the ball son and get to the basket and the free throw line. She shoots well when she's comfortable and brings a lot to the table.</span> <strong>Charity Dixon, 5’5’, G, 2020, Wichita Southeast</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">A smaller guard with good speed. She doesn't have to score a lot to make an impact but she can when she has an opening. She creates for her teammates and is a good passer and defensive player on the ball. She has good footwork and looks to push the tempo when she can.</span> <strong>Brooklyn Zoeller, 5’7, G, 2020, Blue Valley-Randolph</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">A high-scoring player who can push the tempo and get her teammates involved at the same time. She brings good energy and a clean outside shot. She doesn't need much room to get her shot off and connects around the perimeter. She can get inside and gets a shot off in the paint with either hand.</span> <strong>Tiffany Dortland, 5’8, G, 2020, Russell</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">An extremely athletic player who can put her head down and get to the basket. She has great handled and has solid vision at the point. She comes off screen quickly and runs her opponent into her teammate. She can stop and pop from mid-range and connects from distance all around. A player with a soft touch Taurus shot who can let it fly from anywhere.</span> <strong>LaMyah Ricks, G, 2020, DeSoto</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">a good shoot after the catch player who can score several buckets in a row. She works hard on both ends of the floor and it's proven through her steals and tipped passes. She can block shots at times and is comfortable handling the ball and even bringing the ball up the floor if she needs to.</span> &nbsp;
