Continue ReadingI’m elated would be an understatement as Prime Time Sportz is putting on the Summer Elite Showcase July 23rd-25th and it features every EYBL squad in Texas, Cy Fair, DFW Elite, Pro Skills and Drive Nation and I’m talking both the 16U and 17U squads from each team which means I’ll get a chance to see many of these players for the first time this summer but even more importantly I’ll be adjusting my rankings because I didn’t know where many of the players were even playing this season but nevertheless an abundance of players I have on my Prep Girls Hoops Texas Top 100 2020 will be in attendance including Sarah Andrews and Deja Kelly
Sarah Andrews and Deja KellyBoth Andrews and Kelly are listed among the top players in the country, nationally, as well as Jordyn Merritt and the ironic thing about all three is that I said they were #D1Locks around the 5th or 6th grade. I didn’t say that about Hannah Gusters that early, I believe she was going into high school but nevertheless, the 6’4 post has already committed to Baylor and she too is among the top players nationally from the 2020 class.
Laila Blair and recent Cincinatti commit Rianne Burton are on hand as well as another pre-middle school player I locked in at D1, Myra Gordon. Aaliyah Morgan (TCU) and Tommisha Lampkin, are also in so like I said earlier, elated is an understatement. Kyndall Hunter, yep called her early and Jasmne Shavers, she as well, are among the top 2021 players that are in this bad boy and let me add another EYBL squad coming to town, Missouri Phenoms featuring Priscilla Williams, the young 6th grader I saw dropping threes two feet after passing half-court. I knew she was young, long, athletic and could play and she is one of the few players I actually went out of my way to find out her name. She’s ranked 10-20 on every credible national service, oh yeah, I called her a D1 Lock after that performance but there are many other talented teams and players without the acronym because that, as well as logos mean absolutely nothing to me, I’m looking for next level talent and this event will have a whole lot
