If we blink our eyes, high school season will be here. There are a talented group of players ready to transition into their senior years. Some of these athletes will confirm that they are stars in prep basketball in the state of Michigan.
Here are some soon to be senior stars:
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126274" first="Gabby" last="Fogarty"] (G/F, Marysville)</strong>
Fogarty will shine in her senior season. She’s a creator on the wing. Fogarty plays downhill, sealing defenders and attacking the basket.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126304" first="Kalaia" last="Hampton"] (G, East Lansing)</strong>
Hampton will be a household name for girls basketball fans in the state. She has range extending past the 3 point line. Hampton moves well without the ball and is a high IQ player. She definitely keeps mental mistakes to a minimum.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="23771" first="Becca" last="Morrish"] (C, Flushing)</strong>
Morrish has always been talented but really broke out last high school season. She recently commited to Wayne State University. Morrish is strong and physical, and has the ability to absolutely dominate the paint on both ends.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="23784" first="Aryana" last="Naylor"] (C, Flint Hamady)</strong>
Naylor has excellent footwork in the paint. She has shown the ability to score facing the rim or with her back to the basket. Naylor is physical and active on the glass.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="23769" first="Reeya" last="Patel"] (G, Ann Arbor Huron)</strong>
Patel will prove once again that she’s an elite basketball player. She’s a physical guard that can outmuscle many opponents. Patel is a multi level scorer that has takeover a game talent.
<strong>Amoka Unobagha (F/C, Saginaw Arts & Science Academy)</strong>
Unobagha will be a force next seasonson. She’s a bouncy athlete that gets off the floor quickly and can protect the rim. Unobagha covers a lot of ground with a big stride in the open floor.
