We are wrapping up the 2020 players who saw their stock rise since the last rankings in the spring, as girls basketball in Ohio continues to shine. In today's feature, a look at four more players who entered the honorable mention list after not being ranked earlier in the year. Jenna Riccardo (Beaver)- strong powerful forward with deep range beyond the arc. A quick catch-and-shoot player, Riccardo (pictured above) is able to get the her shot off easily against the defense. Can seal her position in the paint and score against the bigger defender. Gets to the rim and creates her own shot. Effective rebounder, good handles. Not afraid of contact. Sees the floor well on the break and can finish. Ally Cape (Edgerton)- sharp shooting 3 point specialist. Can defend multiple positions. Sees the floor well-great passer and has great floor leadership. Can create off the dribble and finishes well inside for her size. Will make a great NAIA or D3 prospect. Caitlin Elseser (Liberty Benton)- headed to the University of Cincinnati, Caitlin is a strong, physical force in the paint, able to score and rebound well. Good back-to-the-basket player who is physical and continuing to get better. Alters shots around the rim, creates problems for opposing post players. Has some range, not afraid to use it. Gracie Mitchell (Perrysburg)- long and uses it to be a complete dominance in the paint. She has great body control in blocking shots and rebounding. She has great footwork and can finish on both sides of the basket. Has done an excellent job expanding her game to be able to finish 15 ft and out and handle the ball when needed. Another upside to Grace is her ability to defend centers to guards. Her basketball IQ is a rare gift. Could be a surprise D2 player and will certainly make an incredible NAIA or D3 team excel, especially w a 4.3 and 31 ACT
