Destiny also has the ability to move in tight spaces to get in the lane in a half court setting. Destiny is a very willing passer when the defense collapses on her. As a starter since her freshman season Destiny has really matured in her game over the years.
- Macy Hoppes is a 5’5 2020 guard from Father McGivney. Macy is very quick and extremely active. She gets results not just from talent, but from relentless effort and energy. She went from not really playing early in the season to the main ball handler by the end of the season. Katy missed the summer season due to being out of the country. She will most likely resume her role as the point guard to start her senior season.
If Alton Marquette is going to repeat as conference champions it will certainly be with Snipes leading them there. Father McGivney, Wood River and Metro East Lutheran all have experienced seniors at the helm. Hoppes, Nottke and Williams have all seen it all as point guards for their team. This will be an exciting way to end the Prairie State Conference. Can the other teams slow down Snipes?
