- Shannon Dowell is a 5’9 guard from O’Fallon. Shannon started the opening game and has done a good job early on for Coach Knolhoff. She is averaging 9 points per game and is shooting 75% from the free throw line.
- Laylah Jackson is a 5’6 guard from Belleville East. Laylah is the second leading scorer for the Lady Lancers at 12.3. She has shown deep range on her 3-point shot and the ability to get into the lane off the bounce.
- Kylie Kisgen is a 5’6 guard from Freeburg. Kylie got off to a very fast start with 11 and 19 in her first two games. Her scoring has leveled off some, but she is still providing good depth for the Lady Midgets.
- Addie Wright is a 6’0 forward from Oakwood. She is providing another option as teams concentrate on Murray St commit Kate Young. Addie is averaging 8 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals per game.
- Grace Heckert is a 5’8 guard from CHBC(Crowden-Herrick/Beecher City). Grace is giving scoring punch off the bench for now, averaging 6 points and 2 assists. She had a nice game of 10 points this week vs Neoga.
- Lee Triplett is a 5’11 forward from Charleston. She is another player getting looks as other teams concentrate on a D1 player, Shae Litttleford. Lee is scoring 14 per game and grabbing 10 rebounds.
- Sophia Loden is a 5’11 forward from Mascoutah. Sophia has a high motor with excellent defense and rebounding skills. She is developing her offensive game and had a career high last time out of 10 points.
- Haley Ottenschneider is a 5’6 guard from Breese Central. Haley is providing a spark on offense off the bench. She had a high of 13 points last time out vs Salem. She gets to the basket well and can finish in the lane.
- Shakara McCline is a 5’5 guard from East St. Louis. Shakara has been the leading scorer in the majority of the games so far this year. She is very aggressive at getting to the hole and is averaging just over 10 per game.
- Jailah Pelly is a 5’10 guard from East St. Louis. Jailah has also been a big part of the early success of the Lady Flyers. She has done a good job at getting to the foul line and converting. She is averaging just under 10 per game with a high of 18.
- Trinity Tingley and Kendra Young are both guards from Paris. Tingley is 5’5 and Young is 5’11. Both girls are getting minutes off the bench for a very talented team. Tingley is putting up 6 points and 2 assists per game while Young is averaging 5 points and 4 rebounds. Both girls could be starting on many teams.
- Jordan Gary is a 5’6 guard from Collinsville. Gary is not putting up highlight stats but is providing valuable minutes off the bench for a team that lacks some depth. She can defend and play the pace they want. Jordan is averaging 2.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
- Megan Rennegarbe and Briley Rhodes are guards from Okawville. Megan is 5’7 and Briley is 5’3. Briley was named All-Tourney at Nashville and Megan had a nice game with 14 in the 3rd place game. Megan is best slashing to the basket and finishing in the lane, while Briley seems to be hot from the 3-point line early on this season.
- Audrey Sabol is a 6’0 post from Nokomis. Audrey has been a valuable addition putting up 9.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. She has done an excellent job on defense against some of the better post players in the area.
I am sure there are plenty of girls not on my radar yet, so we will keep updating this list throughout the season.
