POLL: Player of the Week (Week 6)
Here are this week’s nominees:
Malea Williams, Scott County – The Lady Cards only played one game last week but it was a win over Madison Central. Malea had 17 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks in the win.
Lucy Patterson, Warren East – East beat Warren Central in back to back games thanks to the Kentucky 2A regionals. In the first win, Lucy had 20 points and 15 rebounds. The next night, Patterson had 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Camryn LaGrange, Madisonville-North Hopkins – The Lady Maroons went 3-0 for the week and LaGrange had a big week. In 3 wins, she combined to score 45 points, dish out 21 assists and took 13 steals. Madisonville is still undefeated for the season.
Grace Bezold, Holy Cross – Against Lloyd Memorial, Grace had 18 points and 9 rebounds in a win. Against Newport Central Catholic, Bezold had 25 points and 3 rebounds in a losing effort.
Timothi Williams, Great Crossing – The Sophomore guard had 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals against Woodford County, 30 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 12 steals against West Jessamine then 11 points and 3 rebounds against Frankfort.
Mia Hale, Estill County – Against Jackson City, the Sophomore had 18 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Against West Jessamine, Mia had 27 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and a block.
Macey Blevins, Wayne County – Against Adair County, the Junior scored 17 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, doled out 5 assists and had 5 steals in a win.
Monica Lindsey, Central Hardin – In a loss to Elizabethtown, she had 14 points and 4 rebounds. Against Franklin County, she had 14 points and 4 rebounds again but in a win this time. Finally, Lindsey had 18 points and 6 rebounds in a win over Hart County.
Abby Mahan, Ludlow – In a win over Villa Madonna, the Senior scored 35 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and added 5 steals and 4 assists in a win. In a loss to St. Henry, Abby was held to 5 points but added 9 rebounds.
